Smelled nice whilst lit. Is this what's called barnyard? A bit like a milder Undercrown though not a patch on it smoking.
Slight oily on the lips mild to medium body with a light nicotine buzz after 2/3 point.
A bit rough tingly at back of throat but not much flavour other than tobacco.
1HR 10 mins
Another ticked off the list which doesn't warrant a repurchase.

Don Lucas HS series robusto

I bought a box of these from the factory in the Dominican Republic three years ago and have enjoyed quite a few. As I'm soon returning I thought I'd better smoke one and see if I wanted any more. Sad to say that this was a little harsh and now I'm wondering if I got a bad stick or they're past their best already. Of course my tastes may have changed too.

Diving into one of my 2012 Hoyo Epi de Luxe boxes. The last one I purchased had a few damaged sticks in it. The cigar smokes fine for the moment. Not worried if there are some issues later on as I still have plenty of them.

That was my thoughts too. I had 3 and 2 had construction issues and all were OK, nothing special.

Funny you mention construction as the wrapper has started to come away now. Wish I'd kept that cigar glue in my basket now!
