Sorta kinda PC size. Was gifted to me. Not sure which one this is will measure up as I've a couple left. Not overly keen on the flavour of this stick. Been sitting for about 15 months. Well constructed.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

What was it you didn't like about it? I'm curious as I find it difficult to enjoy R&J as a marca. They always smoke a little bitter for me. Could just be the sticks I've had needed more rest.

They can be hit and miss, seem to be a cheap smoke not given much love. The petit julieta mentioned above is much smaller and much better IMO.

I'll pick up a PJ next time I'm at the B&M. Almost did on Friday but decided against it.

Was fairly peppery and was the flavour profile I didn't like. Can't describe it.

I've actually got 2 no. 2's (a mistake on an order) left. The one I tried was really nice. I've also liked a short Churchill. And gone through a good few LE 2007 Escudos.

So on the whole my experience of RyJ is good! But these have been quite bad. I've 5 left.

Interesting. It sounds like the ones I have tried may have just been bad/too young/over-humidified etc, etc. Will have to give them another go with some of the sticks you mention above.

I'd send out the remaining 5 sticks for tasting if anyone's curious. I'm curious if its just my palette! Or of it was the box.

I don't have PM privs though.

Smoking a VR Famoso, that tastes nothing like a VR:

This Pl?iades Nomades 'Robusto Exclusivo' size, launched in 2014 as an LE for the 30th anniversary of this Dominican Republic marca.

This was gifted to me a couple of years ago and I've been holding off lighting up until now. Despite the absolutely perfect construction and very pleasant draw, it was, sadly, a very one-dimensional stick with no particular flavours of note, which I ditched at the halfway line.

Bit of marketing info here for those interested:
Pléiades, a well-known French-market cigar, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this spring with the release of a limited edition boxed set of 30 cigars
