Whilst tucking my new acquisitions from Tommy away in the customs humidor I came across this custom canozado with no level on it so decided to smoke this whilst watching a movie. Quite clearly an NC with a slightly mineral flavour and quite mild. It was okay but got boring so I ditched the last 2".

So that swayed me into trying one too. A Juan Lopez no. 2 DEC 2015 that is. Nice start...

Mine started better than it finished, 1st 3rd was lovely sweet and light toasted tobacco flavour as well. After the halfway mark it became much more woody which is not a flavour I enjoy much. I left it after an hour with just over an inch left.

Hadn't smoked an RA 898 in about a year or so, they're ageing beautifully... a lot of strength, but increasingly smoother and flavourful:

This one mellowed out over time. Fairly strong for me. Had to take a break so almost an hour and a half and I'm done.

I prefer something a little thinner than a Robusto for next time.

Belicosos Finos for me. Reminded me why this is probably top of my charts at the moment.
