  • Robustos from Amsterdam

    Hi Guys
Pal just back from Amsterdam bought me this small selection of Robustos
Haven't heard of many of these brands
Any ideas how good / bad. Full or mild they might be
Thanking you all in advance for your replies

You have a good pal there, chico. Quite a sampling of NC Robustos for you to try.

I recognize a few of 'em but not all. The Fuente Fuente Opus is a high-end stick adored by many, as is the Oliva V. CAO is a popular NC in the States. I'm familiar with a few of the others - Don Tomas, La Aurora - but remember them as being just okay.

So, if you want to start from the top and work your way down to the bottom, I'd start with the Opus, followed by the Oliva V and the CAO.

Amazing lot you got there, so envious of it. The two sticks on the very left are some of my favourites and the only ones of the lot I have actually tried. The Pilon is medium, nutty and peppery. The Opus is medium-full, really wood-sy and earthy with lots of pepper. Enjoy all of them and do write how you find them.
