Last night (this morning UK time), don TJ told me I could select one of his finest double-banded puros and enjoy. The only stipulation - the box must contain three or more puros (I'm assuming he and his mentor, don Juan, plan to smoke the others upon their return).
After I stopped jumping up and down and squealing with delight, I calmed down enough to judiciously inspected his massive unit for the perfect puro. Then I saw it! Hidden from view on the top shelf - a 25-count box of 2006 Montricisto Robustos Edition Limitada!
YES! As my heart began to race, I donned a pair of white gloves and cautiously removed the box from his massive unit. (Please be three....please be three...) I slowly cracked open the lid to and peered in. And there they were - FOUR FANTSTICSTICKS! (Thank You! Thank You! Thank-You!)
After wetting the head and poking with a punch, I sparked up. The first thing that came to mind was roasted nuts and pepper, with hints of cedar. After that, I lost track of time (and space) and simply enjoyed the creamy, well-aged puro without thinking too much about it. I surfaced just long enough to insert my PerfecDraw so I could enjoy the nub to the silky end. Nirvana Achieved!
Although early reviews were mixed, the years have been very kind to this puro. So, my review in two words - Puro Cialo! (Pure Heaven!)
I was supposed to be working today but family matters meant I ended up having to take the day off. Shame to waste the good weather so I managed to enjoy one of the D5s that I bought on holiday. Like the first it started off a little peppery then settled down to smooth creamy nuttiness.
Followed it up later with an RyJ #2 that my eldest bought me for Father's Day. This cigar was quite spongey and may well have been previously over humidified but it burnt well. Lots of flavour in it but not really to my taste.
This wee gem to close with a deep glass of Madeira.... on of the best rolled cigars I am yet to encounter so far.... and smooth as a freshly waxed hoo-haa!

Nice to see folks enjoying the opportunity. Great weather. Nice relaxing day

Awesome beer, made a few minutes from my home. They (the folk at purity) reckon it's best in cans, the tastes are fresher than on draft( don't recall the proper explanation but that's the short hand) and I agree with them![emoji106]
