Superb weather, so a walk in the country with a halfway herf-stop. A 2014 (I think?) Monte 5. It was superb, some sweetness, some slightly fruity Herby notes and gentle montecristo spiciness.

@gojira I'm familiar with that beer. Have enjoyed it several times before.

My brother-in-law (French) claims the name 'Goudale' is a play on 'good ale' though I've not yet verified this.

I didn't know that about the beer. Actually it's a good one once one gets accustomed to the light sweetness in it's taste.
