Bought a Petit Edmundo from a cigar emporium (keep watching) and smoked it off langourously with my bud from on here over a couple of cappucinnos (sp?). A great end to a fruitful morning that had kicked off with a RA SC Corona as soon as my missus left the house for her day job.
No particular colour this time.
Quite similar to the Kuba Kuba I thought; same supersweet wrapper but less intense. Whether that was due to the smaller ring gauge I don't know, but after a while I forgot it was so heavily flavoured and just sat and smoked it.
I found them both a little overpowering in truth; more an 'experience' than I get from puros. I usually get 'Mmmm' flavours from normal cigars, just richer from the stronger flavoured ones. Whereas the Acids smack you about a bit.
It still felt very synthetic, like the difference between real strawberries and strawberry Hubba Bubba gum. I have no idea why they decided to call this one 'Earthiness' though.
I'm certainly glad I had the experience and I think everyone should try them as they are so unusual, but I don't think I'll be going back for more. Thanks for the opportunity to try them Mark, greatly appreciated.
Cohiba IV - glad you are enjoying the n/c punch. My favorite is the Rothchild (short robusto), which comes in cabs of 50 for under 30 pesos a stick ($3 US).
Tonight I enjoyed the HdM Regalo EL 07. One of my favorite morning puros, but also and nice end of the day smoke.
