This pre-lunch cigar is out of a sampler I've had for a couple of years. Padron are said to be high nicotine content but this one isn't, perhaps due to the age, 91 years has not been kind.
The draw is loose with a v-cut. To start it tasted like a cigarette by half way when I gave up it tasted of nothing much. There was a crazy amount of smoke off this cigar but it was no good.

I might have another one later to make up for it.

91 years? Ya daft beggar! Seriously though, most Cuban smokers will happily smoke a Padron but that doesn't sound good at all.

First flight with the babba accomplished enjoying the evening with a Party mille fleur paired with a new whiskey for me scapa. Both complement each other.
Had one a year ago right after delivery...Hated it... But this was fantastic...Box worthy IMO...Nothing bad about the cigar. Taste great Constitution was on point. Nice colour ash which held up strongly.



Added a few more cigars to travel humi.

Vegueros no.2 Especial 2001 no picture this time. Such a mild cigar! Better than the one this morning though.

I bought a handful of these a while ago and they're definitely improving. I suspect though that they'll be just right when I'm down to my last.

Having had a nerve jangling day, no photo, but a quick RyJ Puritos. It was surprisingly nice. They've been sitting about for a good while, maybe the first one or two I had were sick. Maybe any cigar when the pressure is suddenly off is a good cigar.

I reckon so brother. If the air can taste a bit sweeter, so can a cigar.... Mood and circumstance are big influencers i reckon...
