    Good evening everyone.

I hope everyone on the forum is keeping well, and a belated Happy New Year to you all!
This evening I'm smoking a Carlos Fernandez custom roll Salamon purchased from PeeJay! Certainly puts hairs on your chest!
I apologise for my recent lack of posts. I had an issue with Tapatalk on my phone. I received a boatload of Chinese spam SMS messages, so I'm looking for another suitable host app....
Look forward to catching up with everyone... Rupert

I've had this problem with a lot of Cubans. Don't know if i'm just unlucky? For me, the construction of NC's seems to be much more consistent - I can't recall having a plugged NC

Cubans do seem to be rolled tighter, NC's just always seem like wind tunnels compared... in my eyes anyway.

If your regularly getting tight draws on Cubans try dry boxing for a few days before hand, it works wonders sometimes especially in our humid winters. A very tight roll could even be salvageable by putting the cigar in the fridge for and hour or 2 before smoking. Not seen it talked about much on this forum, but over on a prominent Australian forum frequented by Americans many like to smoke Cubans stored around 58-62rh.

Well touch wood but I hardly ever have any problems and a drill out usually solves the 1 - 2% I encounter. I always store mine at 62 to 65 % of imagine most of your problems with draw are down to being over humidified

That band just looks to big for it. They need a mini version of it.

That's a shame about the draw....I have read about the fridge technique...But I did read you should cut it first.

I don't think that's the problem. Both humidors and tupperdors are sitting steady at 65% ?
I'll give the dry boxing method a try
