    Hi Guys
Further to my last message, I have smoked my
    first Toscano Antico this morning
My first impression was that it was not a particularly powerful cigar ,with a tight draw and a spicy wooden taste
After about 45 min ,it picked up a bit of strength, and I started to get a creamy menthol taste coming through
It took me around 90 mins to smoke, and towards the end the taste definitely became stronger
    Definitely a cigar for relaxation
    I did enjoy it IMG_20170106_1058454.jpg

    Habana Vieja

This is a shaggy foot perfecto from a boutique blend called Habana Viejo that I got a sampler of from a guy on Facebook. It was a damned good smoke and took longer than I expected, I would have nubbed it but I had to go work! Lots of delicious smoke and very little ash.

Think you'll find the taste a lot better imo when the cigar is cut in half
try it next time you will be pleasantly surprised.

With regard to the Toscano that Strommy1 smoked I heard on a podcast that they are meant to be cut in half. I've been smoking them for years and only tried once to smoke it whole! The bloke who said they were meant to be cut worked for the company that had just acquired the import rights for Toscano in the States.... so I guess he knows what he's talking about. Well done for getting through a whole one!.. I'd need an oxygen mask after that!

Cohiba secretos late last night for me but no picture. I'm pretty sure I could see a bit of the aurora borealis from my garden in the north of England which made sitting outside more interesting than usual. Did anyone else notice this, people living in Scotland maybe?

A Trinidad Topes followed by a Hoyo Hoyo in the lounge at 10 Manchester Street, both sublime.
