My first smoke of the year was a RG Panatella Extra. My faith in cigars after yesterday's disappointing Monte is restored: it behaved perfectly, and was smooth and delicious. Also, for a smaller stick, it was easy to gently herf away with without rushing.

Happy New Year

I was planning to smoke yesterday but MLW's sister and husband came round and I did the right thing and stayed in. Today I made up for it with an aged Hoyo de Monterrey double corona courtesy of a swap with [MENTION=201]cj121[/MENTION] and watched 'Last Knights'. Both lasted two hours and whilst enjoyable the double corona was the same thing for the whole two hours, much like the film. It was a 2001 or 2010 depending on which way up I read the sticker cj had put on it!

First ever RyJ.... nice smoke but still can't pin down the flavours. Very light in the mid 3rd though.
