Well thanks to smokey joe I now know this cigar is named after a song by The Velvet Underground but what does it smoke like? Very well actually, its made with a shaggy foot which I like, lit first time and burned perfectly to the end. The only let down was the sweetened cap which obviously why its called a Sweet Jane. Once that wears off it was a very nice smoke, mild and smooth with no pepper at all. It produced masses of smoke, I was watching Hitman through a haze.

And for this afternoon as the first breezes of Storm Barbara start to make a nuisance of themselves, a little SCdH El Principe. 2008, just 4 left in the box now, but always a welcome little number when things don't look to good outside or when times a bit short. No complaints at all, a very good cigar.

Had a cracked foot and thought I'd see if I could smoke though it.

Progress so far.. a few minutes in, looks worse in real life.

          A) sweetened as in just sugary, or a particular flavour?

          B) The recent Hitman or the older adaptation? I was very partial to the games when I gamed more seriously, there was something amusingly terrible about clipping a mafia boss with his own golf club.

Oh, and no cigar for me today, Barbara arrived with gusting grotiness and I didn't want my stick deposited in Kent straight from my mouth. Herrumph.

Tried to lift my spirits today after being told I will have to stay on & maybe do New Year as well & my back to back's medical has expired & supposedly it's a big surprise to him! At the opening of this weekend's festivities the C.C.C.C. Curlew Cuban Cigar Club, I offered RG Pan X to the OIM (captain) & Marine Op & in return I was obliged to accept a NC Davidoff Cru No3. Far nicer than the Auroa I tried in D.R. in Sept. It can only get better from here. The beer was a total disaster, Blue Becks is bad enough but someone high up found it contained 0.05% alcohol so now we get this crap at 0.0%, even the Bass Shandy is 0.02%! Thousands made redundant this year offshore & this is all some arse has to worry about.
Obviously that'll be the last NC I smoke in 2016, now on to the good stuff.

Yep, total crap Si, I'm not even going to call it beer. It's what I drink if we're out anywhere and I'm driving, and I only drink it because I don't like coke or sugary drinks and pub and restaurant prices for mineral water really piss me off.

Still, the JL PC is a real compensation, not frequently mentioned so easily overlooked, which is a mistake, as it is and always has been a very good cigar — far better than that Davidoff thing. I might even dig out one of my 04s this afternoon.

Yep, I have a problem with soft drinks, seems when they started putting artificial sugars in, they made them even sweeter. Pub prices for soft drinks, let alone mineral water is outrageous, especially when they should be encouraging a designated driver. I heard an advert in the UK the other day that Weatherspoons were offering one free soft drink to the driver, oooh, I'll raise my hand then! Some places, as long as your group are buying booze the driver get all his soft drinks free - how crazy is that!

Artificially sweetened unfortunately, they dip the cap in something and it was the original Hitman with Timothy Oliphant and the beautiful Olga Kurylenko, no tits and skinny as fuck but oh what a face

You could have won last month's photo competition with that shot!
