I am in Nott's doing my Medic's Refresher. Would like to go to a comfortable heated outside smoking area on Tues 6th to celebrate my birthday. I haven't time to search the site today so if someone could do a little research for me I will be extremely grateful. Just 1oc here today. I am in the Mansfield area.

Tried a Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robustos tonight. It was a recommendation on one of my newbie posts and what a great one it was! It's my first 50 gauge cigar which was nice. Smoked this one in the Robert Graham lounge in Cambridge accompanied by a complimentary Coke which seemed to work really well.

Wish I could tell you about amazing flavours but I can't. It did burn really well with a fantastic draw. Not sure if the draw is so good because of the bigger gauge which is new to me or the quality of the cigar. A great cigar that I look forward to trying again soon.

Just a little tip, if you cut that yourself try to leave a little more of the curved shoulder to lessen the risk of it unravelling. A good way to do it is to set the cutter flat on the table with the cigar standing vertically in the hole.

Yes it did start to unravel slightly but luckily not enough to cause any issues with enjoying it. I didn't think I cut that much off but I will be aware for next time.

            Cheers.
