An Ashton esquire Maduro for me this afternoon. It's a small fellow that started light but got a bit harsh in the last third. Tasting notes describe it as smooth, but I'd have said "rustic" was more like it, both in construction and flavour.
I followed it up with a La Aurora Principe natural, which for its even modest proportions (and being possibly machine made) was smoother, produced clouds of nice smoke and was altogether nicer.
