As Fidel has passed on, now seemed appropriate to smoke this. It's not a tribute or a celebration, it's just a "Cuba!" thing. It's a 2013 Montecristo Petit No. 2. It's smooth and delicious!
For a change I was grateful to the outlaws yesterday for visiting and entertaining MLW whilst I snuck out to the cabin to smoke this H Upmann 1844 Reserve churchill. It was a pleasant mild smoke but just too long and i left it after 1hr 45 mins. I might try a smaller vitola next time
Nothing like a stroll with a nice smoke, as I've come to discover. I find such walks seem to polarise anyone you encounter: either they seem to get close for a sniff of the cloud you're producing, or the back away and keep their distance. I think I prefer the latter, and I hope it's because cigar smoking makes you look a little bit badass...
