A little Herfservatory break in the fading light. MLW with an RyJ purito (bland and she's moving on to an Aurora Principe), me with a Raphael Gonzalez Panatella Extra, which is as smooth as a really smooth thing and delicious.

A truly fine smoke! A rotten chest infection has meant no smoking for me for over 2 weeks now. Reading the forum and seeing posts like this is a form of mild torture

Personally I prefer the PX & less than half the price of the Perla!

Perhaps the cold temps didn't allow the full flavours to develop CJ? Smoking out side in the UK winterish temps play havoc with most delicate flav smokes. When fishing I try to stick to strong & simple sticks, as not to waste the finer points of a good smoke. These PL's are fine smokes, at least the few I have smoked where & they seem to have a good rep. Try again next May/June & think you'll notice a difference CJ.
Just a late post, forgot I had taken a couple of pics of this pair wee Cheeky Chicos, I shared with my OIM. For those looking for a short winter smoke, with some strong flav's, if somewhat unrefined smoke & ignoring the country style wrapper, these can hit the spot.

First out of the box of SdC3s and I was surprised to find the flavour stronger than the previous ones I bought from [MENTION=1090]RobustoClubHavana[/MENTION] and My Smoking Shop, perhaps down to being stored in the cab for all that time. Sadly a headache took the edge of my enjoyment so another one will have to burn soon.

A very good point Simon. Mind you, my compadre for the cyber-herf, smoked the same stick from the same box in a much warmer climate and he wasn't bowled over either. I guess you win some, you lose some.
