Yes Decky please sort the date out as it helps ordering and searching. I've done a few in the past, but can't always keep up with them. Thanks in advance
Hi sham it's a pleasurable smoke , will need to pick up a few more cigars are so hit and miss and everyone's tastes are different had so many bitter cigars still smokeable but it'd nice when you get a tasty one , this will be in my top 5 , got a mag 56 in humidor 2015 I think wanted so much to try it in these 2 weeks but thinking now better to hold off but we will see
Is there that much in a date when I was 18 wanted to be 21 the 30 hit 40 and wanted to be 21 now coming 45 and want to be 18 moral just enjoy your cigars as like ourselves we will always want different

That good to hear...I was lucky enough to pick up a box of 04 mag 46 this year and have to say they are fantastic smokes.
There was a recent post about the mag 46 and 56 el recently..it was one of the COTM some time this summer...I really enjoyed it...was a beast of a cigar for me..but enjoyable.....I'd personally prefer the 46.
Also don't give Up on a cigar if you found it bitter....sometimes they just need to adjust to there new storage I found....ie...I bought a fiver pack of Reyes a few months back and hated it...was to bitter for me...just a month or 6 weeks in my humi it was a completely different smoke. I don't understand how or why that would make a difference as they would have been stored in a walk in humi before...there must be some strange science behind it but who knows

I'm not sure I see the correlation between your birthday milestones and housekeeping on the forum Decky
However, I guess cigars do have their own important milestones too: when they're made and when they're smoked, hence asking you to change the date please If you don't know how to edit the post let me know.
Yum, Glengoyne. It took me ages to find a bottle, I settled on the 10 year (as apparently they were on very limited distilling a bit ago, so said the lady in the whisky shop) and it was really nice - easy to pair with lighter sticks like Upmanns.
I think I was inspired to get a bottle whilst reading a Charles Stross book. So oddly, a literature based drink selection!
I like that it's quirky as they go. They say the distillery is right on the Highland line, and it does seem unlike anything else, a bit peaty, but also light coloured, and so forth.
I may need more, and good to know the 10 is likely better than the 18 - I'm always happy to accept experienced advice!
