Started the day with a '13 RASCC and a gingerbread latte, whilst listening to The Book of Souls - Iron Maiden

Turns out the sinus stuff is fairly serious as it's gotten into my middle ear at least, so I'm having to keep my self secluded, whilst tests are being done. Ergo, today I am self medicating with a Quintero Favoritas. Tight draw, weird first flavour (blue cheese?!), but getting nice. Also found an excellent mug holder:

Recently discovered Ramon Allones' sterling work. Long ago discovered Iron Maiden's sterling work!

You've got me thinking about how music and cigars pair up. I can see RA and Iron Maiden together: full flavour, full volume. They do not make purito music :-D

Punch coronations today. Not a bad smoke actually, smooth and quite sweet and nutty from the second third in.

2014 Cohiba Corona Especiales - nice smoke, but definitely needs some further ageing:

Nothing as grand as the previous cigars, nice smoke all the same, a Regius Hermosos.

                          I wish I'd known!

                          COTM for me tonight.

Lovely smoke, this. Lots of chocolate, some hazelnut ? almost like a Nutella-ish taste early on, but not sweet. MLW had a puff and she loved it. Cut grass with pepper towards the end. Draw was a little tight but overall a winner.

I would definitely purchase more of these, especially going into autumn/winter as they're a great size.

                          Thanks cj121

I'm trying a My Father Le Bijou Torpedo tonight. Very strong smoke!

Can't see how this could have been voted number one by Cigar Aficionado last year.
