Today is the start of a short jaunt to Amsterdam. Eurostar in the morning, this afternoon, a pilgrimage to Turmaeus in Shepherd Market. As there's a time limit in the sampling room, I had a Monte media corona. It was and as I nub the fellow now, delicious!

I'll start a little travel monologue in the travel thread in a bit, if people might be interested...(or even if not :-D)

[MENTION=13402615]PeeJay[/MENTION] any experience of other Diamond Crown sticks? I had a DC Julius Ceaser earlier this year and found it to be really bland and disappointing. Which was surprising given the fantastic reviews I've seen.

These are mild but not bland but if you found the Julius Ceasar bland then stay away from these because these are the mildest of the range.

As usual with these sort of gauges; lacking any flavour or profile and no development. Find them utterly pointless!

Duly noted, though I'll hesitate to write them off just yet. I find my tastes are changing constantly so I may well revisit.

My very first smoke ever came from that shop, a punch coronation if I remember right 18 years ago. A few years later I took a job offer in York just to have access to that shop. It was a mad world before mail order!!!
