2003 Bolivar Immensas today, same great Boli flavour but more of it and didn't overwhelm me with nicotine either

That looks like solid ash and a great burn.

It stayed perfect for the 90 minutes it took to smoke it

Cohiba maduro secretos. I was looking forward to this one, however it was terrible! The burn was awful, only going down one side and needing constant touch ups and the taste was nasty, just very very strong bitter flavour like burnt coffee mixed with dog poo. I gave up after 15 minutes life to short to smoke things like this. Much unlike any other cuban I have had, hopefully never again.

They need to be well aged Shaun, not that that will improve the burn. If you want a maduro you're better off with an NC.

                        Hi Shaun!

I showed this picture to a local aficionado who happened to stop by the hacienda today. He said it looked like a counterfeit. I asked why he thought that and he said the cap looked suspect.

Anyway, he wanted to know if you purchased it in Mexico.

Unpleasant! The one I've smoked was more like a malt chocolate drink.
