The last two smokes i had were putting me off.... A nub sungrown torp that burned inconsistently and became bitter, where previously i have loved the (admitedly) smaller guage regular sun grown, and a disappointing aged HdM DC which had a tight draw in the final third and next to no taste in the second half. But today i had a EDRM Choice Supreme from the box split i did earlier this year. It was a corker!

it was sweet, almost floral, light and smooth throughout, with the final third just a touch stronger than the rest of the stick. Undertones of sweet tobacco pouch scents all the way through, with a really subtle light vanilla hint. No harsh flavours at all with an easy going toasted nutty after taste. That stick has brought me back. I really enjoyed it. It lifted my spirits, and lifted my enthusiasm. It was about an hours worth of pure pleasure in which i didnt think about work, the economy, or all the nonsense back in Blighty. So good i think i have sun burn on my back as i simply didnt want to move.... The extra good news is that its nigh on impossible to drop ash in my chest hair when lying on my front.
