RyJ Tres Petit Corona from 2006 with a 6mm punch cut. Good construction & fill with a nice flavour for a morning smoke

Cutting the grass with a LFDC Preferidos late 1990s
Full of Liquorice and coca smelt great out of the cellophane fresh as a daisy
    Very strong old tabacco

After a crazy week at work, I needed a smoke to unwind a bit... too bad it turned out not that good of a stick!

Although taste is of course a very personal thing, I'd go as far as to say it's really nothing more then an average smoke, no matter one's personal preferences. Flavours were somewhat muted, there was little to no evolution (and the evolution that actually subsisted was not very pleasant), and the draw was also decent, but not great. All in all, I was expecting a lot more, specially flavour wise, and considering this cigar was gifted to me along with a pretty high recommendation. For me, it's definitely not worth the premium $.

                          The Deep End!

Well, in defiance of a suggestion from CJ121 that I start with something a little less threatening, such as a petit corona, I decided to go for it and try the Bolivar Royal Corona tonight while enjoying American Baseball.

                          Wish me luck!

Thanks for asking, smokey joe. The cigar was excellent - very fresh from the looks of most cigars in don TJ's humidor. The game was great, as well. The home team won. Those yanks sure no how to play ball.
