My father in law appeared yesterday to surprise my wife on her birthday along with a bottle of Glenmorangie for my birthday next month. He insisted I open it and have a half, I was keeping the Cuaba (courtesy of smokeyjoe and Beas raffle) for my birthday too, but couldn't resist it any longer.

Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!
After marveling at the previous posted pictures, I'm a little embarrassed to post a picture of the cigar I'm enjoying this afternoon under a hot, burning mexican sun. You guys are so good at it, but I figure I gota' start sometime. So, here I go...
This is my 3rd cigar ever. The first two were The Griffin's and a 2004 Cohiba Sublime. This one I found buried deep inside don TJ's humidor. On the label it says "Havana Club Cayman Island" and a second label has a hand-written date June 2014. Anyone out there in cigar land know anything about this cigar?
So far it's pretty dang good - much, much closer to the Cohiba Sublime than the Griffin's.
I shall not be aging HdM's so long in future.... super mellow super smooth but somewhere about half way it got a bit tasteless. Not unpleasant but just a bit bland... bit of a shame really as the first quarter was really rather lovely, 2nd quarter tasty but light, and downhill from there......

Got dragged to a party last night night but took one of the 08 Mag 46 that I bought from groundhog so at least one hour was enjoyable
