Making the most of the mild evening down in Hayling Island and smoking this Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva from the cigar pass. A lot of cocoa and coffee on the pre-light draw, a very loose easy draw which I thought might translate into too much smoke. A mellow cigar, white pepper and cedar notes.
Into the halfway mark and there is a bit too much smoke, thinking I should have punched this instead of cut it.
Overall a good smoke from AF. Being a fan of their Short Story, I need to explore the brand more.
First cigar in two weeks and boy was it great Bolivar No3 07 cheers RobustoClubHavana paired it with a Bowmore
What a great cigar....first Bolivar I've had....perfect draw..I couldnt pick out the flavours but was creamy sweet..I think some coco. I'm definitely going to buy some more Bolivars to try....would love to smoke one with you guys to help pick out the flavours. Lasted a good 40minz
was packed close, so burnt sloooooow, tight spot at the head which needed lots of squeezing and massage, but just meant it was a long steady smoke. Nice. Savoury and woody, until the second half when i swear i am not making this up, but i got apricot flavours!! Jolly nice ... Cheers @ACMCC one well kept stick matey... Thx!
