Quite nice, actually, and not very Upmann like - definitely more medium to full bodied. Flavours still haven't settled, though, it needs some time... but it has huge legs, so I suspect it will be a superb smoke in a couple of years, or less. La Escepsion Don Jose from a recent split. I can agree with others on the tea, there's a taste slightly reminiscent of an opened tea caddy in there. Overall I thought it was pretty mild and approachable but strangely un-Cuban in that there was little in the citrus or wood ranges. There was however a very nice light Toffee Crisp taste during most of the mid section. As a La Esception it's not what I expected at all and lacks the 'killer' kick and quite probably the development potential of the Selectos Finos.
But in saying, it was a light, pleasant smoke and most welcome on what was the warmest afternoon of the year so far. I did take a pic or two, but at the moment they are trapped on my new table because I don't know how to get them off. Seemingly the Google Nexus7 doesn't come with an 'idiot' sheet.
