I'm sure you smoked/posted a Jekyl SigIV last year John. Did you have a few of them?

That was one that Tom gave me knowingly and it was a good smoke. This was sold as the genuine item in a selection with the Upmann that wasn't very good yesterday. Won't be buying from him again. I don't think he's dodgy, just doesn't know what he's doing fully.

started the day with a little Oliva serie G petit corona in the garden, moved onto a HdeM petit robusto that really didnt impress ( been recommended others in their range) moving onto some RyJ goodness now and maybe some Solani in a nice briar

From a holiday sampler put together by an outstanding BOTL.This one has been resting since November and I decided to pull it out tonight just cause.The Bolivar Gold Medal-I didn't know much about this until maybe last year as I progressed with my learning and knowledge on Cuban cigars,but it seems to be a favourite amongst enthusiasts (including me now!) and sadly another discontinued stick.Started off full but settled into medium body to my palate and not one to smoke on an empty stomach!Peppery from the go but smoothed out, rich,creamy and earthy Bolivar throughout.I only had the one so really appreciated the opportunity to try this.Not going to try to hunt this down as I know they're HTF and hey let's face it,there's plenty more sticks out there!
