Mine are stored at 65-67%. if / when I replace the heartfelt beads I'll probably go with a lower rated bead but it's no big problem. I'll drybox if I know what I want to smoke and have the time to do it. more often than not I'll just take something out when I've found a spare hour or so.

Gotcha. I was wondering if it was to dry the wrapper more than the filler to encourage better burn characteristics or something but I guess I was overthinking it haha

mine are at a similar humidity and I've never smoked anything above or below the 65-67 range. What does a lower humidity (or higher for that matter) do to the flavours?

As I'm still fairly new...I really don't actually know the difference...I think over the warmer days I'm going to try smoking the same smoke with different humidity

Sounds like a good plan, I'd do the same but I don't know if I'd be able to remember the previous one as I only smoke once a week

The petit robusto is a good starting point for HdM Shamz.

I'd start with the Epicure #2

I've not tried that one yet Peejay but I have one resting in the humidor to try as I've heard they're a classic. I thought the 2013 Grand Epicure was a decent smoke too.

Why don't you smoke two small ones like a Monti 5 or something...not long smokes at all. Only an idea though.. Tbh I'm not sure what I'm gonna smoke to compare...but think I should maybe do it with a mid to premium cuban

Any ideas what cigar I should use to test the difference?

Padron 1964 Exclusivo Maduro tonight. This is one of my favourite smokes. Full bodied and full flavoured cigar. It reminds me of an '07 BBF.
