Joya Red for me tonight.

Can't believe how good this cigar is for the money, hints of chocolate on a cold draw.....first time i've experienced flavours in a cigar, my palet may be developing😊😆.

Tried retrohaling.....a full draw 😢😢made my eyes water, so exhaled most then retrohaled the rest.....i keep wanting to say pear drops....some sweet undertones there anyway.

Loving it so far will definately buy some more of these

La Gloria Cubana Gloriosos 2008 UK RE.

Normally I'm a big fan of LGC's flavour profile, particularly the smaller ring gauges (i.e. The Medallie d'or range), but for some reason I just don't love these.
I think it's because the the smaller ring gauges encourage you to 'sip' the smoke allowing the subtle flavours to shine.. but these (like so many 'fat boy' cigars), just drown out the nuances of the blend.

I guess I'd rate them more if I'd never tried the others. Good but not great IMHO.
(and a classic example of the inconsistencies of Habanos LE/RE programme).

First of the RYJ Anejados for me with a friend! Sun was in and out but a great 1.5hr smoke.
