2015 box so too fresh and had real floral notes throughout. Never had that on a monte before and wasn't impressed. I have and have been smoking the H.Upmann equivalent and they are much nicer but 3 years older...
May let these puppies sleep before I try another!

It's been a couple of years since I sampled the last one and the additional age has smoothed out the rough edges (particularly noticeable during the final third).
Medium to full in flavour, but without any bitterness.. woody, earthy with a slight (citrus like) sweetness.
Would pair well with a Tequila based drink.
(Though went with a locally made craft beer this time).
How was the ale @El Catador?
That whole image looks very Gothic!
Cheers Wayne
I love this Ale (From a local brewery - Enville near Stourbridge).
Stout like with hints of honey.
(They also make a version flavoured with ginger which is awesome..!)
As for the 'Gothic' nature of the picture.. It was smoked by the light of a log fire in my herf hut.
Very restful.. with relaxed opening hours..!

regular enville is a cracker.... The light one made with honey is just an easy drinker!
