Last year I bought something on eBay that I can't even remember and the seller sent me three dried up old tubos with it. A Monte small corona in the old pre-2008 tube and two Davidoff 3x3 coronas which I have to assume are about the same age. Anyway I put them into a small Tupperware box with a 69% Boveda and forgot about them, until today. I decided to try one of the Davidoffs, the foot had split quite badly but what the heck, I'm going to burn it anyway right? What a surprise, I didn't just burn that foot I also burned my fingers at the other end it was so good. It was mild and nutty and left a clean taste in my mouth. And it burned perfectly to the end with no relights. Looking forward to the other one now and also have great hopes for the Monte. The moral of this tale is not to give up on every old cigar.

I'm off to the gym but will be having an Upmann Mag 56 later on. It will be getting reviewed too! [emoji4]

They're not the best IMO. Lovely dog though!

Hmmm, first third was quite spicy and nutty, 2nd third mellowed out the spicyness went. The last 3rd for me was a bit sour and I ended up leaving it. Just to say aswell mine had a really tight draw, it opened up after a while but initially I struggled a bit.

Great idea, that's been my excuse to smoke for the past 6 months haha. Only got one left now to try. But no space in the budget to restock, gotta keep a disciplined bank statement for mortgage application

Hard to say because this one was probably 8 years old, I'd definitely give a current one a try and I haven't previously been a fan of Davidoff.

First cigar in about 3 months yesterday.

Was in London for a job interview and stopped off in JJ Foxes for a smoke.

Siglo IV and at least 12 months on it due to the old band.

Great smoke. Lasted me a very pleasant hour and a half before making my way to the airport.
