Last year I bought something on eBay that I can't even remember and the seller sent me three dried up old tubos with it. A Monte small corona in the old pre-2008 tube and two Davidoff 3x3 coronas which I have to assume are about the same age. Anyway I put them into a small Tupperware box with a 69% Boveda and forgot about them, until today. I decided to try one of the Davidoffs, the foot had split quite badly but what the heck, I'm going to burn it anyway right? What a surprise, I didn't just burn that foot I also burned my fingers at the other end it was so good. It was mild and nutty and left a clean taste in my mouth. And it burned perfectly to the end with no relights. Looking forward to the other one now and also have great hopes for the Monte. The moral of this tale is not to give up on every old cigar.
