After one of the most hectic months I can remember, I finally got the chance to sit down with a cigar. Even got special dispensation from the mother to sit (half) indoors - much needed as visiting the parents over Christmas/New Year.
Picked out a Por Larra?aga which has been in the humi for years. The Magnificos UK RE from 2007.
Just finishing up... Super smooth, fantastically balanced, and brilliantly constructed throughout. Just a tad subdued at times - perhaps 8 years is starting to edge towards the limit of this blend's ageing potential?

Good to know, as I have a box ageing away. I'd better get them smoked!

I would say it's definitely worth testing one to see how they're going at least. Mine did have a less than ideal few months of storage a couple of years ago, so it's life may have been curtailed slightly.
Had a monte no 4 tubo my brother got me for Xmas. The first 2/3 were great the last was harsh and all I could taste was tobacco. No idea of age. Really enjoyed it whilst working though.
