Will pop up a pic later but enjoyed a D4 and a HdM petit robusto while out amongst it shooting today. The D4 was about ten years old and super mellow with classic partagas flavours. The HdM was light and sweet and leathery and I enjoyed a super slow burn. The D4 however was from the top of the same humi, so was drier, and unfortunately i smoked it as the wind blew like crazy. So while it was enioyable, i consumed it in about a third of the usual time for a robustos. Thankfully it didint spoil it, but nubbing it took no time at all!

Montecristo Number 2
Cosy 16 degrees in my cabin so gave this 2013 cigar a run whilst revisiting 'Texas Killing Fields' on the box. Thanks oskihen, much better than my 2015 ones, that two years adds smoothness and nuttiness

In the main we couldnt hit barn doors at twenty paces today! Made hard as the barn doors were on the wind and rocketing, before going up to satellite height! Much smaller target bag mind you.... But we struggled as the winds pushed our birds to the limit and beyond of some of our guns. I closed my account with a cracker that will linger long in the mind!"Dear heart, you're talking to a man- a real man- who drinks straight Tequilla, with lime and salt on the rim, and smokes cigars" (J Zavala)
