Taking advantage of what might be one of the last sunny and still evenings of the year (hoping I'm wrong...)

Enjoying one of my last three LFdC Short Robusto 2010 REs... They're really hitting their stride now. But then again, they've always had a delicious butteriness to them.

I'm not normally one to drink peated whisky with cigars, but have a dram of Gordon & Macphail's 8yo Bunnahabhain bottling to accompany - a very comforting and autumnal drop (perfect, as it might be sunny, but it's a bit chilly!)

Also reading a write up of a friend's day of walked-up grouse in The Field (lucky git!)

How does it compare to other Boli's?
Still need to find my first but not sure which one to go for.

Indeed I am - to the extent that I have my own sporting agency and shoot consultancy. Whoever said 'never turn your hobby into a job' didn't know what they were saying.

I smoked a Dutch pyramid and it was hideous! Wrapper came off, then the end split and I binned it! Trying to broaden my horizons but that didn't go well!

It has the Bolivar flavour but being a Tres Petit Coronas lasts around 30 minutes.

My 1st Bolivar was a belicosos finos as I am a pirimide fan. Yet to try the bigger ones.

Last flurry of activity before the pheasant season starts, then it's mostly hand holding for three months. Might even get a couple of days in myself... A couple of weeks off once the season finishes then all action working with shoots on plans for the following year and selling days etc.

Shooting season ends then work begins again like getting rid of vermin before pheasant rearing
building pens ect for the following season.
