Almost pulled out a Punch RE myself this afternoon (have a Serie d'Oro No1 from 2008 with me on holiday in the Lake District). Sadly, the weather looked a little changeable so didn't want to risk it being cut short... As such, I'm having a rather beaten up BBF instead.

Lovely view, and despite the damage, as delicious as ever!

It's the first of these I've smoked and it was pretty bland to be fair and I nearly gave up on it halfway through but stuck it out as I hate waste and it came on a little better in the last third, mild floral spice and a little cream and coconut but not much to it. Might be a while 'til I try another, nice construction and great burn, a reasonable smoke just not special. Great view by the way.

Lake District is looking good in your photos Simon. I have some great shots from there myself.

Smoking a Tres petit corona which is very nice indeed

Cheers smokey joe - always easier when the subject is so pretty. (Only way I can take a decent pic...) Will throw in this one, suitably over-edited for the Instagram crowd...

They have to be one of the most consistently excellent cigars available right now. Can't remember the last one I had that didn't amaze me.

Did you mean the du Depute Smokey Joe? It's the nearest to a TPC I can find.

Same as the last one John. Pretty harsh to start, but settled down. Overall a decent smoke.

Continued my birthday celebrations this evening with an absolutely sublime Behike 54 and a malt or two.
