A fine 5 year old Juan Lopez no. 2 from a 50 cabinet box.

What a great cigar if you like wood and leather flavours.

Was the wrapper leaf coming undone before or while smoking the cigar.

        Party D6

As usual it was a great smoke, I've shot myself in the foot though, as I've let my small desktop humi creep up to 71%, which caused problems keeping it alight!
I'm going to leave the lid open for a while & then I'll stick a 62% Boveda in there to keep things under control.

Day off and time to enjoy a treat. Bottle of Timothy Taylor's landlord, a Boon Doggle and this:
          a lovely smoke

            A surprisingly good Cuaba Pir?mide.

I've read a few bad reviews of this one, but I have to say I found it to be a lovely smoke, medium to strong, very smooth and with a distinctive traditional Cuban tobacco flavour, also with a lot of pepper in the mix - reminding me of the gorgeous VR Piramide. Damn, wish I had bought more of these!

Hated this as uninteresting and bland when i first had one back in 2014 winter... But some time in the 'sin bin' resting up in the humi and this one gave me a cheeky wee smoke to kick off the evening on a roof terrace as the sun went down with a Roman IPA style beer!

spicy at first, then settled in to be a mellow light leathery job.... Welcome back from the dark side. My little Upman PC....image.jpg

Although I've not had one, these did get a bit of a bad press didn't they. However, a few years down the road and your experience is echoing others in terms of them seemingly coming on and improving. Nice to hear you liked it better than last time

Day off today, working in the garden laying slabs and had one of the quinteros brought back from Spain. Curiosity got the better of me. A really nice smoke though, thoroughly enjoyed after lunch. Sorry no photo.

Not heard any bad reviews myself, had a box in the humi & a single to two to keep me going, very reasonable price too E18.

Coming undone towards the end only. This happens rather regularly to me, no idea why... :S
