    Nub Cameroon

Such a lovely evening I had to have a cigar but sadly this one didn't do it for me and got binned at half way. In fact I might sell the rest of my Nubs.

Sat out in the warm evening air, paired with a nice glass of Shiraz, bloody lovely!

Making the most of a break in the rain to finish off today with a CAO VR Moby. One of my favourite NCs (well, along with all the other favourites).

The Choix Supreme was quite a disappointment. Construction mostly to blame - right from the off I had canoeing, re-lights, poor smoke production, loose draw etc etc. I'm sure all of this combined to make it burn quite hot, as a result it was quite bitter and tarry. A couple of re-lights weren't entirely the cigars fault - I was called upon to assist my father in manhandling his new (old) Triumph GT6 (actually Spitfire) bodyshell into the garage.

I've yet to find one which clicks with my palate either. I was somewhat underwhelmed by my last one.

Smoked this Hoyo yesterday afternoon. I was really enjoying it until I removed the bands.

I hate it when that happens, anyone know why?

They were not even stuck to the wrapper John. As soon as I peeled them back, the wrapper just started coming away.

Just my opinion on this what I think might be the cause.
What will cause this most often is the cigar not being kept at a constant humidity and temp and will then constantly shrink and expand.
Other members might have their own thoughts.
