    As far as I know you are spot on. I was last there just before the refurb, and they could only serve alcohol at an event. You could no longer take your own booze, but coffee and chilled water were still on tap. If you really must have a drink, a discrete tug on a hipflask is unlikely to be frowned upon, unless you really are just trying to overtly swing round the 'rules'!!

        Got back to Aberdeen Monday evening, weather a pleasant 21oC, had a fish & chip supper at the airport bar & then popped out for a C.C. & very nice it was too, bit young but plenty of flav.

                My experience on my last visit too - was quite a shock to the system (I had to be revived with smelling salts). Such a shame, but a coffee with a drop of whisky from a hip flask should see us alcoholics through (just a shame we can't wander up from Berry's with a nice bottle any more).
