Pre 1988 Royal Jamaica Park Lane

Perfect burn, no relights and an almost white ash from this stick that is at least 27 years old. It started out slightly tannic and was occasionally slightly bitter but never unpleasantly so.

HdM E2 out a tube & from 2010 The leathery taste on the unlit puff diluted with the smoke once lit to include chalk & a light floral accent. Very delicate!

Too big for my tastes! It actually looks much better then it is - which is something I've found can happen a lot with NCs. Flavorwise it was average, the draw was too loose, and the construction was sloppy. All in all, not a fan!

If you get the chance try an Inch Short Run, their annual limited edition, usually somewhat better.

Thanks for the advice, PJ - although at this point I'm pretty close to completely giving up on the NCs. If the incoming AF Short Story's aren't enough to change my mind, I don't think I'll be buying any other NCs anytime soon.

Kicking off the evening at 10pm? I'd be thinking of going to bed if I wasn't at work!
