Busy morning so now relaxing in the shed with a Epi Especial and a new book.

Never had the especial before, don't like it as much as the No2. Construction is pretty poor on this one too. Few relights and a tough draw.

          PL Montecarlos

If these were prettier with dark, glossy wrappers they'd be twice the price, lovely smokes

Agreed mate. Had my first one a couple of weeks ago, contemplating a box now.

What I think is a RASS Cab Selec bought in 1998. I say I think its that... because i cant imagine what else it could be!!rasc.jpg

Despite the cut being a bit crispy, which was a surprise as i tend to smoke things a bit wetter than most, the rest was just right! quite rich and well rounded, spicy at times, with hints of molasses.

not smoked one of these for many a year, a mistake I wont be making again!

nubbed it while taking a walk round the woods with a shot gun for crack at pigeons etc.

Smoking a Trinidad Coloniales right now. Only my second ever Trini and enjoying the flavours.

Had a H. Upmann Mag 50, really enjoyable but surprisingly mild. Might do a real review tomorrow if I've the energy.
