A dinner time Rocky Patel Vintage. First one I've tried and it's not too bad to be honest. Leathery and chocolatey.

On no..... They're on to me!!!!!

Mr Rankine, third re-light on this bad boy. Had the same issues with a Black Market. Which is a pity as its a damned nice smoke when it actually works!!

(unlike the Black Market which was disgusting)

Looks more like a wrinkled chorizo to me! Seriously though, are they both from the same humidor? Bit soft perhaps?

Partagas Super Partagas c/o Smallclub. My first one .... the lesson learned, don't dismiss or underestimate the lesser rated or cheaper Cuban cigars without trying them. OK an SP isn't an SdC, it was never intended to be, but as an every day, easy to smoke cigar it fits the bill nicely. Thanks Frank, a fine 45 minutes smoke.

same humidor but they are the only two I've had that problem with. It runs at 67% so shouldn't be too moist.

Good looking cigar! Not tried one myself, what's the flavour profile?

Is it true what I've heard that NC's should be kept at a higher % humidity than Cubans?

I think you'll find that Americans like to keep their cigars at a higher humidity than us
