I've recently had it in mind to try one of these.

Initially I pick up on spices and wood, but quickly adding something sweeter. About halfway through it gets a bit bitter (in a good way), I'd say black coffee and cocoa. There's not a lot of flavour evolution, as the spices and wood stay present throughout the smoke but, as you can probably imagine, it goes wonderfully well with an espresso.

With a couple of years on them, I find it to be a milder smoke then the usual Partagas - which, to me, can be a good thing, even though it does finish with a bit of a kick. If you can pick up a box for '13, I highly recommend it - they're really smoking beautifully.

Thanks, I shall look forward to trying one and particularly like what you say about it being a milder smoke then the usual Partagas as I can relate to this.

HdM Petit Robusto. One of my favourites. Always found them to be amazingly consistent.

Less of the harshness and more of a smoother smoke, correct?

Indeed! I'd go as far as to say there's little to no harshness on these.

Thanks! Those 3D scans are incredible. They had it up on a projector screen.
