I don't get this one PeaJay. Have you got an example or link? I'd say Guinness' stick, from his description, sounds as though it clearly tasted oily Oil's not a mineral.

Sorry I'm late getting back.

Yeah, 'mineral oil' has nowt to do with minerals as it's derived from petroleum. It's a misnomer really and you'd have to research why/how it got the name. Minerals are crystalline (salt, graphite, copper etc) and are always solid.
