Revisited the Principes Maduro Toro again today in a moment of 'what the fuck shall I smoke?'. It was very soft and required several relights. The smoke was smooth but tasted bitter at the start although it settled down later.

Round 2 with this went a bit better, a mild chocolate flavour throughout. A tight draw coupled with my pish lighter meant it was a bit of a stop start effort but overall very pleasant.

Lollest ash ever. ..

Tried a a Cuesta Rey Belicoso 11 a while ago and it tasted like gun oil. Might not have properly washed my hands at that time so tried another one. Gun oil taste again and haven't touched the stuff for weeks. Less present with shallow draws.
Strong ash though! But my last Cuesta Rey anyway.
