Initial few millimetres are very nutty and sweet with some leather. Loose draw and lots of smoke. I'm a fat ring gauge slut though. Burn is so far on a knife edge with a peppery linger.

End of first third, still nutty with less pepper



Consistent throughout with a slight uneven burn at the last third, possibly due to my smoking as I was appealing a parking ticket I got at the same time. Bastards!

The regata is a bit better imho, but neither one to write home about.

I had an 'Open' sampler & enjoyed the Regatta the most, bought a box. I was given another Master a few months ago. Can't really remember my 1st so when I smoke it I'll post a comparison.

Master is smoother and lasts twice as long. Flavour is comparable.

Cheers... you mean the Regata is harsh?

Just checked some info
50/124mm for Master while 46/135mm for Regata
That Open Junior looks good for a short smoke, have you tried it?
Comes in at 38/110cm

I didn't enjoy the junior I had as I recall. The regatta isn't harsh. It's a good smoke imo
