Settled down outside to watch the F1 and decided to take a go at this month's COTM monster! Defiantly a non Cuban, could tell as soon as I opened the package. Quite a course almost abrasive wrapper leaf. Very firm construction. I have to admit I'm not really an NC smoker and this does taste quite different to my usual flavour profile. It has a fairly harsh initial hit with not much of an aftertaste. The main and probably only flavor im really picking up on early is pepper. Cannot fault the draw, it's lovely and free. Not sure it's the cigar to take me away from CC's but I'll go with it and see what happens. I know I'm not completely won over with it yet.

A bit underwhelmed with this to be honest. Nothing of any note happened throughout. A bit of an effort to get this far really.

Not as strong or intense as it's initial presence leads you to believe. Not the worst smoke I've ever had but not very memorable.

If you get there at 10am (when the breakfasts start they are really good and the bottomless cup of tea they do works wonders on a (slight) hangover

Draw needed a little help, but once we'd got acquainted, it was a lovely smoke with (as nearly always) a great, late, second half. [emoji106]

If I hadn't made out the lettering on the sides I would have thought your ashtray was a toilet!

If it hadn't the lettering that'd be plain potty
