With age on them they're really smooth with a nice velvety smoke.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy yours parnaby but tonights Sancho Panza Non Plus went down a treat with me. Ive only had one before and enjoyed it but not found either of them harsh. Notes of leather, smooth nutty coffee bean flavour but not bitter. A tiny hint of youthful ammonia in the first third but this drifted away to some smooth flavours. Bought as singles so Im 'non plussed' as to the age of it.
See what I did there...?
I'll get my coat.

Enjoyed a Bolivar Belicossos Finos again, burn was a little uneven and was a bit of a bugger to keep lit in the middle, unravelled about an inch lower than the burn throughout. Taste in first third was a little unremarkable actually, then finally coming into it's own after that! I'm really enjoying Bolis at the moment. Complimented by a Kozel, a Czech lager that is packed full of flavour and would also highly recommend.

Most Importantly! Welcome to Summer! What a day!

Here's a shaggy dog story for those of you bored with Fri night TV. If you haven't time skip down below to the cigars! So yesterday I heeded some advice & went to the Dentist after another night?s lack of sleep. Even after meds & whisky, I was woken up just one hr later with the pain coming back. Checked NHS website & they mentioned some treatment for sensitive teeth so I went along to my Belgian Dentist. I have an appt in May but I need to be seen today, I have raging tooth pain & I am due to leave to sea on Monday, if I go in this state they'll be medivac'ing me off I & I'll be losing pay! Yes, I understand but you haven't got an appt & we are fully booked today. What during your lunch break? After 5 o?clock? I will wait all day but I need to be seen today! I sat down. I was going to kick up merry hell after 20yrs+ at this dental surgery & one of the very few times I have needed an urgent appointment. I was going to pull my family from this clinic if I wasn't seen. My wife needed an emergency appt from you some yrs ago & was told 3wks was the soonest they could manage, she went elsewhere & was seen in a few days. Digging in for a fight, it was something of an anti-climax when she said someone hadn't turned up & I could be seen, just 20mins later! She had a great problem trying to find the root of the problem (excuse the pun) she tapped all my teeth with her metal probe, no pain, She used hot & cold no pain. She wanted to do root canal work but couldn't decide which tooth to de-nerve! Luckily an x-ray solved that dilemma, a cavity was revealed under a filling, it wasn't sensitive teeth after all it but hidden caries, about to become an abscess! I'll have to drill the filling out now, it looks really bad', 'great go ahead' I said, This turning into a scene from the demented dentist in the Little Shop of Horrors as she carved away & slapped in a temp filling. The nerve had been so inflamed she expects it will take a week or so to calm down so keep taking the meds. Keeping a British stiff upper lip & frequent meds was just about coping with the problem but it wouldn't have cured it & left until next leave, it could have been a nightmare at sea. So today out at Antwerp station to wave off the wife. She?s visiting our daughter in London & after lunch I had my first LGC No4 of the yr & later after posting some important parcels, a RA NL Petit Ed. Was able to enjoy two excellent smokes on a lovely spring day; now the pain is nicely under control.
