L'Atelier LAT56. Had one of these when working my way through the Cigar Aficionado Top 25 of 2013. Really enjoyed it so bought a box. Not sure I'd be quite so enthusiastic now, though it's still a damn good smoke (IMO) and a cigar I'd look forward to having again ... and again. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428514577.557203.jpg
Had a rather rough night, woken up with tooth pain from sensitive teeth. Been going on for 10 days now on & off & it woke my up last night at 03:00. spent the rest of the night on the couch so I wouldn't wake the wife. Taking meds but it my morning was written off. Tried some distraction technique this afternoon & took advantage of the improving weather to smoke my first large cigar outside, this year. I mentioned during my last trip offshore that I hadn't had a RAG for 4yrs! I went to my DC cab & dug out one from <'04. It was firm throughout it's length & after punching, the draw seemed slightly tight but once lit it turned out fine. The wrapper was silky with an oily sheen, the RG profile came through quickly & was delightfully strong. The burn was even & no touch ups or corrections were required. Paired with a coffee & a couple of Antigoons. A very pleasing smoke & I'll be trying to squeeze another in this summer.
Wanting to know if that excellent and flavour full first of the 4some was an exception I had a third Vegueros Entretiempos today and as the second one it is nowhere near that first one. both very bland. Bummer.
The first one had a few green spots in the wrapper, near the head. not dried long enuf? Would explain the barnyard smell i am told. uploadfromtaptalk1428524754256.jpg
