Kicking off this beautiful Easter Monday with a 2003 Monte No 5 that I actually picked up from Ebay where it was being sold as part of an estate sale in the USA, definite salted caramel notes in this little beauty.

PeeJay Is that band 'homemade' ? If so how or what did you use? Looking for a way to label my single cigars with known dates/box codes.

Interesting smoke. 2011 La Hoyo du Prince. Not had much luck with these before, previous trys being plugged, but this one was fine. Fairly full bodied with flavours on the darker side of the scale, not overly sweet but sweet enough to satisfy. I have to say I really enjoyed it. Just a shame it's a bit dreary here today.

Absolutely cracking!
Started off woody & earthy, which lasted throughout, smoothing off into the middle third.

A Partagas SdC No 3 - brought a few to try before the disappear - only a few draws in and can see why people aren't happy they've been discontinued!

Did a few hours tidying the garden so I treated myself to an HdM Epi 2. Very nice as always [emoji1]

Went out for lunch and took a Paty D4 and a HDM Epi2 with me.

Chose the the D4 and what a fantastic little cigar.

My first, but most certainly not my last D4. Super smooth, great draw, even burn despite the breeze and wonderful earthy, woodsy tones. Smoked right down as far as I dared which I have not done with previous smokes.

This could be my first box purchase.
