Just binned my first cigar. Impossible to smoke

Diamond Crown #5 Robusto. The foot actually looked quite loose and it took a while to light, I wasn't even sure it was lit properly as it wasn't glowing but it just wouldn't get any hotter, the wrapper was starting to chat round the top. Started smoking it and it was like there was a piece of cotton over the end of it. Absolutely impossible to draw. Was a shame as the flavour actually seemed like I was going to enjoy it. Oh well, just bad luck I guess.

Should of blended it up and stuck it in a pipe!

Someone asked a while ago what was smoking well young. Well this Vegueros Mananitas is from May 2014 and was a light woody smoke with hints of nuttiness so there's another one to try.

              Love the flag. Very artistic.

Having a Gurkha Vintage Shaggy. Gurkhas aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I've really enjoyed this. Very earthy giving way to a dry woody flavour later. I probably should have looked it up though, because I thought the 'shaggy foot' was a manufacturing error with my particular stick. As a result I'd already smoked through it when I took the picture.

Got a couple of duds and many cut ends off cigars in a kilner jar ready for this purpose. How exactly should I go about it? I was thinking of going to the indoor market and getting one of the plastic grinders are designed for grass/weed. Anyone done this and has any pointers?

There's a guy on Facebook who's shredding it and blending it with whiskey

I think of you grind them they'll end up too fine , maybe unravel the leaves and see what happens, possibly cut the cigar into 1/4 " strips and then unravel should end up like ribbon cut tobacco , or if it's a big ring gauge stuff in bowl and light, just suggestions be interesting to see if any work
